Roadmap
What we're working on and what comes next
Lines of Battle is a tactical strategy game with simultaneous turns: each player plans a move, then every move resolves at once. We're working on two versions that share that base: Lines of Battle 2D (Web & Mobile), free and focused on online ranked matches, and Lines of Battle 3D (Steam), a separate paid desktop game with historical campaigns and longer battles.
What you learn carries over, but 2D and 3D are separate games with different engines and multiplayer systems. Web and Mobile players can match together in 2D; 3D multiplayer stays on Steam.

Free on Web, Android, and iOS.
This is the game you can play now. It is free and funded through cosmetics and convenience features that don't affect match outcomes. Some of this work is underway and the rest is planned. You can follow it on our public GitHub project.
